Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to online purchases of party items, gifts, and related products sold through Sha Twist Party Corner (“we”, “us”, “our”) via our website and Gift Corner online shop. Payments are processed securely through PayHere in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
1. Order confirmation
When your payment is successfully completed through PayHere, you will receive an order confirmation. We will begin processing your order for delivery or pickup as stated at checkout.
2. Eligible refunds
We will offer a refund, replacement, or store credit where:
- The item received is damaged, defective, or not fit for use;
- You received the wrong item or a missing item from your paid order;
- The product description on our website was materially incorrect; or
- We cancel your order because the item is unavailable and cannot be substituted with your approval.
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging where applicable.
3. Non-refundable situations
Refunds may not be granted when:
- You change your mind after placing an order, except where required by applicable law;
- The item was used, altered, or damaged after delivery through no fault of ours;
- Customised, personalised, or clearance items were clearly marked as non-returnable;
- The request is made after the refund period without valid reason; or
- Proof of purchase or delivery cannot be verified.
4. Return of goods
If a return is required, we will advise you whether to return the item to our shop address or arrange collection. Items must be returned in original packaging where possible, with tags and accessories included. Return shipping costs for eligible refund cases will be agreed with you in advance.
5. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used via PayHere where possible. Refunds are normally completed within 7–14 business days after we approve your request and receive any returned goods, depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Partial refunds
If only part of your order is affected, we may issue a partial refund for the affected item(s) only, or send a replacement at no extra charge where stock is available.
7. Cancellations before dispatch
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been packed or dispatched, we will cancel it and refund the full amount paid. Once dispatch has begun, our standard refund rules apply.
